Barbara Jean Thomas Munson, age 52, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005, at a local hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Barbara was born December 18, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Clark and Mae Wilkin Thomas. She graduated from Granite High School. Active member of the LDS Church where she served in many positions of service. Although she suffered many health problems throughout her life, she enjoyed music and was a gifted pianist. She was a devoted mother. She loved people and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Maryann (Bart) Jordan, San Diego, CA; father, Clark Thomas, Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Kathleen (Evron) Knorr, Salt Lake City, UT; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her mother, Mae Thomas; sister, Colleen Schilling; brother, John Richard Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2005, 12 noon, at the Ridgedale Ward, 1100 East 3400 South. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Wednesday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
